YOUR ICONIC 10K ROUTE

Did you spot all 21 of our music and entertainment points along the 10K course? Spectators cheered for friends and family at Michelob ULTRA Fan Hubs and the ‘Zipcar-Wash’ mist shower kept runners cool. ASICS provided high five cheer zones and kept the energy alive with 2 metre high RUN UNITED letters on Westminster Bridge.

Did you see your motivational message on screen at KM 4? Thanks to KIND for powering our runners’ journeys, and PowerBar, Nuun, and JUST Water for energising ASICS London 10K all the way to the finish line!

On the North Terrace, Trafalgar Square, there were a host of activities to keep our runners and supporters entertained.

On King Charles Island, at the top of Whitehall, DJs provided live music all day at the Michelob ULTRA Fan Hub. FOREO dished out free facials using their award-winning LUNA range products. Did you freshen up at the FOREO mist wall?

SUSTAINABILITY

Recently, we announced a partnership with JUST Goods for the ASICS London 10K to further our Virgin Sport mission of making all our running events plastic bottle free in 2019, eliminating half a million single-use plastic bottles.

The ASICS London 10K was also the first race where we eliminated plastic kit bags; replacing them with long-life natural cotton tote bags.

The exclusive ASICS finisher t-shirt was also made using recycled PET bottles. Part of ASICS’ project that collects used gear and partners with organisations such as Worn Again to support technical development and scale up the recycling of used textiles into new textiles.
